SAP Declares Definitive Leadership in Retail Industry; Announces Safe Passage Program for Retek Customers

Chicago, Ill. - May 25, 2005 - In a move further establishing its leadership and vision for the retail industry, SAP America, Inc., a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE: SAP), today announced that it is extending its Safe Passage program of SAP applications, technology and support in a special offer for companies running Retek software. The new offering from SAP provides "safe passage" to retailers facing the uncertainties arising from the acquisition of Retek by Oracle Corporation and challenges companies may face over the next several years.
